Refund Policy

At Nootka Saunas, we operate using a lean production model, which means every order triggers a series of adjustments and preparations almost immediately after it's placed. Within the first day, we begin adjusting our raw material orders to align with your needs. Over the following days, we dedicate resources to mapping out production schedules, fulfillment logistics, and other key aspects of order management. Even before production starts, significant administrative and logistical work is required to prepare your order.

Because of this, our refund policy reflects the resources already allocated at different stages of the order preparation process:

1. Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Payment

   • A cancellation fee of $150 + applicable credit card processing fees will be deducted from the refund.
   • This covers the immediate adjustments made to raw material orders and associated administrative costs.

2. Cancellations Between 1 and 3 Days After Payment

   • A cancellation fee of $400 + applicable credit card processing fees will be deducted from the refund.
   • During this time, we are actively mapping out production schedules and planning fulfillment logistics, requiring more in-depth resource allocation.

3. Cancellations Between 4 and 7 Days After Payment

   • A cancellation fee of $650 + applicable credit card processing fees will be deducted from the refund.
   • By this point, our team has invested significant time and resources into preparing your order, making adjustments difficult.

4. Cancellations After 7 Days But Prior to Shipping Confirmation

   • The full deposit is non-refundable.
   • However, any collected shipping costs will be refunded, as those arrangements are finalized closer to production and fulfillment.
