Terms of Sale
1. Customer is responsible for ensuring they have LTE cellular service with Rogers, Telus, Bell (Canada) or Verizon, T-Mobile & AT&T (US) where the sauna is located.
2. Nootka Saunas does not offer a smart controller installation service. Customers are responsible for installing the smart controller or having their electrician install the smart controller.
Important: Refunds will not be offered for saunas located out of service maps (links below) or for damage caused due to improper wiring.

Why is a Cellular (LTE) The Best Option for Saunas?
Cellular (Nootka's Controller)
The Nootka Saunas Smart Controller uses the LTE network, similar to your cell phone. This makes setup a breeze and as long as you have cellular service where you're sauna is, then you'll have reliable, hassle free connection between the smart controller and the app.
Wi-Fi (Competitor's Controllers)
Wi-Fi is great for many indoor connected products but is not reliable for outdoor devices due to wall construction and physical barriers. As such, Wi-Fi sauna controllers are great for in-home saunas but are not reliable for outdoor saunas.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth range is usually a matter of feet, so it's good for things like headphones and computer accessories. It doesn't work well when you want to control a system beyond 100m away.
Why the 5 Year LTE Subscription?
The First 5 Years of service are on us.
Then it's a $50 Cellular Service fee Every Year afterwards
Wifi is not reliable for an outdoor sauna. As such, the Nootka Saunas smart controller relies on LTE-cellular service for connection to the cloud.
The 5 Year Subscription covers the ongoing server and LTE connectivity costs. The subscription is associated with the email that the controller is purchased with.
Add Under-seat Lighting For Your Sauna
Our underseat package connects to the Nootka touch screen controller to offer warm, indirect lighting in your sauna.
The lighting kit includes 2x low voltage LED lights and a wiring harness, designed specifically for use with our 8ft and 10ft barrel saunas.
THE NOOTKA SAUNAS SMART CONTROLLER CAN BE RETROACTIVELY INSTALLED ON ANY ELECTRIC NOOTKA SAUNA
